this is day 2 of this experiment and i still can't figure out what to write. that said, i need to keep it going in order to get any real results from it.
in the mean time, here's something that can be considered mildly interesting.
did you know that the oldest human fiction ever discovered dates back to 4000 years ago. the story in question is called the epic of gilgamesh and tells about the journey of the ruler of uruk.
gilgamesh was mentioned in other texts as a ruler of the city but is not clear if he really existed (before being turned into a myth by subsequent generations of mesopotamians) or if he is totally made up.
anyhow, the fact that we have a record of stories written by people more than 4000 years ago, and of how these people saw the world around them and how they interpreted things is very, very cool!
i think it's very important to look at how people thought before any of the foundations of modern cultural frameworks were even set. such a sneakpeak is eye opening and is a good way to help build the habit and skill of thinking outside the box.
